Beautiful Cancun

Well, we took our last vacation for a while... Cancun, Mexico! Our dear friends Brian & Diana Young (pronounced "Jong" by the Mexicans) invited us to join them in their beautiful Presidential Suite at the Cancun Palace for a week. We had to think long and hard about it - yeah, right! An even though the weather was unseasonably cool and rainy, we had a GREAT time!


For those of you who don't know me, I LOVE birds. This was Cancun's version of Sea World, called Xcaret, and it was like a tropical paradise. We watched a Mayan show, saw lots of animals, and even went snorkeling in an underground river... so cool!

Isaiah and I got to visit the ancient Mayan ruins of Tulum, which just happens to overlook one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, we're told.
